1) Know what makes up your Ideal Guest. Actually write down all the characteristics of your ideal guest.

2) Create a thorough (add something to each section)LinkedIn Profile and Business Page to highlight your establishment. Always speak in the first person.

3) Identify your top 3 Keywords and use them in your profile, headline, and description.

4) Add your Slideshare presentations to your LinkedIn Profile.

5) Join relevant groups and offer advice, answer questions, make announcements that will be noticed by your ideal guest.

6) Connect with new people daily. A rule of thumb is to connect with 5 to 8 new people every day. Always personalize your request to connect.

You won’t get overwhelmed and you will reach more people in your target market. If you are a professional coach, then you definitely need to have a presence on LinkedIn and Facebook and perhaps Google+. If you have an online fashion store, then Instagram and Pinterest make great choices, as they are mostly photo driven social media sites.
YOUR PROFILE NAME
When you are setting up your profiles, try to get the same name for each one. It will be easier for you to remember if they are similar and it will also be easier for friends, and followers to find you an all the channels you are using for your business.
YOUR AVATAR
An avatar, is the way that people will recognize you in their feeds, so please don’t have a different avatar on each social media! Keep them common across all the sites you are using. This way people will get used to seeing that beautiful face and remember who you are. Generally,  it is best to have a real photo of you for your avatar. And never leave your avatar blank.
DESCRIPTION
Use a similar description on each social media network to keep your profiles in line with each other. Use Keywords, and make the most out of the space allowed per channel by describing what you do and why they would want to follow you. Alway include a link to your website that they can visit to learn more.
